For fans of HBO's critically acclaimed show "The Wire," this news will certainly be surprising. Idris Elba, who played Stringer Bell on the show, told Playboy this week that he has barely ever watched the show.
Elba claims he's seen a few episodes, but only because HBO forced him to during screenings. He's literally never watched it of his own accord, and says it's because he's way too critical of his own acting.
It's sort of strange, considering "The Wire" is generally considered one of the greatest shows ever made, but suit yourself!
