Rockstar Games held off the pirates for a while, but Grand Theft Auto V found its way online Friday--four days before the game's release.
The game is likely the most anticipated release of 2013, and demand for information is overwhelming. Microsoft has taken to banning the Xbox Live accounts of anyone sharing sneak-peeks at in-game footage or playing early.
The game file was evidently uploaded onto Pirate Bay on Friday morning, not long after it was leaked to smaller, exclusive torrent sites. GTA V racked up 2.5 million pre-orders for PS3 and Xbox 360.
