Comedian Aziz Ansari nearly topped "Girls" creator and star Lena Dunham's $3.7 million deal for her memoirs, with his own $3.5 million book deal on his comical views of modern love. Publisher's weekly tweeted the news revealing Aziz's paycheck for his work.
Aziz described how he wants his book to relate to his potential readers, stating:
"You know when you text someone you're romantically interested in and you don't hear anything back and then you see them post a photo of a pizza on Instagram? That's exactly what I want this book to deal with."
