"Yeezus" rapper Kanye West can breathe easy tonight, as the L.A. County D.A. decided not to file felony charges against him for his LAX airport scuffle with a paparazzi.
West could have potentially been charged with felony assault and attempted robbery charges, but somehow managed to escape punishment. The altercation was caught on video, but in the end, there wasn't enough evidence to make the charges stick.
Deputy District Attorney Amy-Hannah Broersma said the case was declined after no one could find evidence of "specific intent," for attempted robbery, and the cameraman didn't sustain enough injuries to warrant assault.
