A Eugene, Oregon police officer was caught on camera slapping a 10-year-old boy in the face while trying to apprehend him as he attempted to enforce a court order in a child custody dispute. According to police, the boy's mother told him to run when they arrived at her trailer home, and after an officer caught up with the child he claims that the boy bit him on his hand, which prompted him to smack the young boy in the face.
It's unclear at this time, but the custody dispute may be in regards to the mother's sexually abusive ex-boyfriend having somehow gained custody of the child, as it can be heard on the video near the very end that "he's a child molester."
Everyone who witnessed the child get smacked in the face was absolutely outraged at the police, and a large crowd followed them screaming all sorts of curses at the cops while they took the child.
