For comic book fans and fans of movies alike, this is huge news. Warner Bros. made an announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, which surely knocked the socks off of everyone in the building. According to the media company, a Batman/Superman movie is coming in 2015.

The film will be directed and co-written by Zack Snyder, who co-wrote the Dark Knight trilogy with Christopher Nolan. Nolan will be on board as an executive producer for the movie as well.

Though it won't be a reboot of the previous Batman movies, and won't feature Christian Bale, they did hint that "The Dark Knight Returns" would be used to segue into this combined superhero story.
