Hundreds gathered this weekend to mourn the life of slain 18-year-old rapper Lil Snupe, who was shot and killed in June. Snupe's funeral was held on Saturday at Jonesboro-Hodge High School in Jonesboro, La.
Meek Mill, who signed the promising rapper to his DreamChasers label last year, attended the packed funeral.
"I saw something in him. His demo tape spoke to me. I saw myself in him," said Meek.
Earlier in the week, 36-year-old Tony Holden admitted to the crime, and was charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
