Despite Kelis receiving $25,000 per month in child and spousal support from ex-husband Nas, the singer is having to sell her New York City apartment.
Kelis is unloading her Campiello Collection pad in Chelsea for $2.2 million. Sources say she is shopping the 1,663-square-foot home which features two bedrooms and two baths, although a Sotheby's broker with the listing said the offering "is still a work in progress."
Kelis' decision to sell her home may stem from a $349,015 federal tax lien filed against her earlier this month. She bought the property in 2005 for $1.3 million.
