A black-and-white photo uploaded to Reddit depicts what appears to be Jay-Z's doppelganger.
The pic, uploaded by Reddit user jdymOO, was reportedly taken from the New York Public Library's Schoburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The photo is recorded has having been taken in Harlem in 1933, and depicts a man who appears to be in his late 20s or 30s wearing a pea coat and cap slouching up against the railing of a building. The crazy thing is, the man looks exactly like none other than rap superstar Jay-Z.
Redditors have commented on the photo with lots of Jay-Z-themed puns, including: “I got 99 problems but a depression ain’t one,” “It’s a hard knock life,” “If you havin' loan problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but shanty towns ain't one,” and “If the dust bowl comes, go and brush your shoulders off.”
