There are hotels all over the world that feature memorable pools, but only one boasts as having the world's largest: the San Alfonso del Mar Resort in Chile.

The pool - a glorious testament to man's technological prowess - is also the world's deepest at 115-feet-deep in some areas. This man-made lake is larger than 20 Olympic-size swimming pools and holds a staggering 66 million gallons of water.

The nearly 20-acre pool sucks water directly in from the sea using a computer-controlled suction and filtration system, and besides the obvious swimming activities, the pool also offers sailing!
