During T-Rex's battle with Aye Verb at the Smack/URL "Summer Madness 2" event, Rex spit:

"You battled your man for the crown, that's some fa**ot sh*t, Mook could have that sh*t, cus loyalty is bigger than this battle sh*t."

The line was hot and received a huge uproar from the crowd, however some odd things occurred shortly after that line was spit.  After being awarded $10,000 from a cash bet placed on the winner courtesy of Diddy, (who was in the VIP section of Webster Hall along with Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, and many others) Rex was approached by fellow battle rapper Math Hoffa.  Math put his arm around Rex and joked about how he would rob him for the cash as he said to the camera, "I'm gonna rob this ni**a outside," to which Rex laughed and replied, "Try that!  I ain't Mook, I'm the tough one!"

For those who don't know, Math and Mook had a physical altercation occur in the past, one which has been rapped about in many battles by many battlers.

After that battle Mook put out a blog addressing Rex's comment to which Mook said that he and Rex always "play" with each other and he didn't take any offense to the statement.  But then again, during the most recent Ultimate Warrior (UW) battle event between O-Red vs T-Rex, Rex threw dirt on Mook again.  Towards the end of O-Red's 1st round he spit:

"That made me mad as sh*t, cus that's a hot line duke, but you cancelled that when you said to Math 'I'm not Mook', that told me two facts, 1- Math really went upside his roof with that, 2- Your big homie's a pu**y and you cool with that."

Once O-Red initially brought up Mook's name, Rex immediately replied by saying firmly, "I'm not Mook, I'm not," with a very defensive tone in his voice.  It seemed as though Rex was trying to defend his image from being associated with Mook's.  Again, Mook already stated that he and Rex often "play" with one another, but one has to wonder: when does Rex's "playful slander" of Murda Mook in his battles cross the line?

This brings up an interesting debate:

Even though it's rare to see close friends actually battle each other aside from Hitman Holla vs Aye Verb, the battle community might be wondering who would win in a battle between Murda Mook vs T-Rex.

We all know Mook won't battle again unless it's for a large sum of money, but this battle might be interesting as they would both have a large amount of dirty laundry to air out on one another.  This battle could also generate the type of money Mook was asking for in order to battle again.  If they don't battle, do you think Rex will ever stop throwing Mook under the bus when he battles since they rep the same squad?

But if they did agree to battle each other, who do you think would be victorious between Murda Mook vs T-Rex?
