In light of Magic Johnson's son coming out to the public that he is gay and Magic showing his son unconditional support for his courage to admit his sexual orientation, Mark Cuban was asked by TMZ how he'd react to having a gay player play for his organization.  According to Cuban, he'd be honored if the first openly gay professional athlete were to play on his team, and Mark stated that he would protect the player from public slander as much as possible.  He feels as though we're at a time where sexual orientation shouldn't be a factor that limits a player's success anymore.
