A Texas High School student was recently suspended after writing "YOLO" on a standardized test, and tweeting it to friends and administrators.

"I was being a high school kid getting on Twitter," said Kyron Birdine, a junior at Arlington High School. "I have the TAKS test to study for, not this unneeded craziness."

TAKS testing standards are for more advanced students, while the STAAR is for kids with a lower GPA. The junior has a 3.0 GPA and a high PSAT score, so essentially the STAAR was meaningless to his future.

Birdine's mother found the 4-day suspension excessive, but Birdine himself has learned a lesson. Check out the pictures of his test above.
