Aspiring Brooklyn rapper Kenneth Casilla, who went by the rap name NuMoney, was shot and killed in Miami's Little Haiti last week, and the family is reaching for reasons why.
Kenneth's mom Yvette Casilla says her son moved to Florida to further his career in rap.
"From little, he was talented," said Yvette. "He would dance, rap, play ball."
Casilla's mother said her son was in a car with two other people at the time of the murder.
"He was in a car with somebody he knows and another guy in the back," she said. "And my son gets shot and nobody else gets shot."
So far police have no suspects.
