Being on a major label is not a necessity anymore, as shown by rappers such as Mac Miller. An artist can now make a name for him or herself independently, causing some to reconsider their status as major label artists. Following suit, rapper Lil Chuckee has decided to leave his home at YMCMB to explore new opportunities independently.
After all the letdowns at Young Money, the nearly 18-year-old Chuckee is determined to get noticed. The young rapper is kicking off a new clothing line called "Libra G.A.N.G." and will be starting his "Young & Getting' It" tour in April.
