Super producer Noah "40" Shebib has cooked up some of the hottest beats in the last few years, but few are aware that the man behind those sounds is actually suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. Shebib was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease at 22, and has been living with it since.
Since it is MS Awareness Week from March 11-17, 40 decided to lend a hand to an MS public awareness campaign called "MS Kills Connection > < Connection Kills MS."
"It started with sensory issues. I woke up one day and all the temperature in my body was distorted. My sense of hot and cold and what that meant to my brain was very confusing," said Shebib. "I think one of the biggest struggles people with MS face is trying to define it to people and explain how it manifests itself. It's very difficult, you know."
