The Jackson family always seem to be up to something. The NY Daily News reported that Jermaine Jackson has legally changed his last name to "Jacksun". The "Jackson Five" member had the petition to change his name granted by an L.A. judge on Friday.
Jermaine cites the reason for the change as being purely artistic, and his lawyer added, "If Prince and Diddy can do it, why can't and shouldn't Jermaine?"
Back in 1989, Jermaine changed his name to Mohammad Abdul Aziz after converting to Islam, so he's used to this sort of thing.
The 58-year-old is currently touring with his brothers Tito, Marlon, and Jackie.
