Willow Smith has reportedly pulled out of the upcoming remake of the classic movie "Annie", citing her age as the reason she couldn't play the part.

Willow was supposed to star in the film, with her parents producing it, and Jay-Z providing the music. Since Willow thinks she's too old for the role, Oscar nominee and equally adorable Quvenzhane Wallis is now the frontrunner for the part. Sony also announced that Will Gluck, director of "Easy A" and "Friends With Benefits", will likely direct the film.

Wallis' place in the film is not yet set in stone, but given her role in "Beast of the Southern Wild", she would certainly do a great job.
