Hulk Hogan recently opened up a huge lawsuit against the Laser Spine Institute in Florida for allegedly performing surgeries on his back that were useless and caused more pain and injury than he previously suffered from.  He opened the lawsuit in the Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court for over $50 million, claiming that he was enticed by a sales pitch from LSI back in 2009 and sought out their treatment for his various spinal injuries.  Hogan was apparently suffering from multiple lumbar spinal abnormalities including scoliosis and multiple bulging discs.

However, the procedures performed on Hogan apparently caused him even more pain in the long run.  Hulk claims that the institute withheld information that the laser surgery would only aid his back temporarily.  He eventually sought treatment from another facility which successfully fixed his back.  The injuries and lack of successful medical treatment LSI provided apparently forced him to miss out on millions of dollars in business opportunities.  They also used his name without permission to promote their own company.

LSI has yet to comment on the situation.
