Two years ago former Hot 97 and BET 106 & Park personality, Corey "DJ Megatron" McGriff, was shot and killed.  On Tuesday, January 8th, William Williams plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter for the slaying and will now have to serve out a 21-year jail sentence.  He was initially facing a 25-to life prison sentence for second-degree murder but instead plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter to lessen the charge.

The murder of DJ Megatron happened when Williams and his associate Richard Cromwell attempted to rob Megatron.  They ended up shooting him once in his chest and made off with some money and a watch that was given to him by his daughter who was only 11-years-old at the time.
