To pay off the $1 million he owes Hendricks & Lewis law firm, George Clinton is being forced to relinquish the rights to four of his classic funk songs. He was only able to pay around $340,000 of the $1.5 million he owed the firm, prompting a federal judge to give the lawyers temporary rights to the songs.

"Hardcore Jollies," "The Electric Spanking of War Babies," "Uncle Jam Wants You," and "One Nation Under A Groove," were all transferred to the lawyers, but only until they make the money they're owed. Once Clinton's debt is paid, the rights will go back to him. Clinton is currently trying to block the decision.
