It was reported last week that rapper Lil Flip was arrested after law enforcement found an assault rifle and marijuana in a vehicle that he occupied. He was pulled over by officers in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana and after a search of the car, they found a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle as well as drugs.
The discovery led to a number of charges. Flip was charged with third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and speeding.
He posted bond and took to Twitter to address his arrest and even called out the arresting officer. He stated that there was no marijuana in his possession and said that he had a permit for the assault rifle. Check out Flip's tweet above and let us know what you think of his situation.
