Famed music company Sugarhill Music is currently suing Warner-Chappell Music over an old Naughty By Nature track called "Uptown Anthem."

The lawsuit states that the three syllable phrase "we gonna" was repeated 41 times for the chorus of the song, infringing on copyright laws. Sugarhill is asking for an accounting of earnings from the track which samples "Uptown Anthem" as well.

Despite their song being at the heart of the lawsuit, Naughty By Nature is not mentioned by name.
