Rap newcomer Chief Keef has had an immediate impact on Hip Hop since his "I Don't Like" introduction went viral, as his music has resonated throughout the world of Hip Hop and he's been able to create a buzz for himself. But there are others who feel Keef should be a more sensitive with his lyrics, since most of his material is derived from the street violence that occurs in Keef's hometown of Chicago.

A blogger for Chicago NBC 5 by the name of Edward McClelland let his feelings about Chief Keef's music be known in a recent blog. Towards the end of his rant, he expressed sorrow for those affected by the tragedy that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School and says that Chief Keef should be considerate in his music because of that recent horrific incident.

"Since last week's murders at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, though, I haven't had the stomach for any violent entertainment. While I was watching this Sunday's Bears game, ads for the movies Gangster Squad and Django Unchained came on TV. Both ads packed two or three shootings into 30 seconds. I don't want to see either. A culture that glorifies the sexiness of the man with the gun is one reason we have 300,000,000 guns in America. I also don't want to pay $14 for the minstrel show of listening to a real live South Side thug. I don't want to support a scene that makes gangbanging a resume builder for music success."
