Atlanta rapper T.I. is fresh off of the recent release of his latest album, "Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head", which hit stores earlier this week. It was initially delayed for some time but finally dropped, much to the joy of his fans. Now in a recent interview with XXL, Tip touches on a certain collaboration that was to be featured on the album but unfortunately didn't make the cut.

T.I. says he reached out to Jay-Z to be a guest artist on a track titled "G Season." The collaboration never came about, with T.I. citing Jay's extremely busy schedule as being the reason why. However, Tip was able to secure a feature from Meek Mill for the track instead.

"I asked Jay to get on ['G Season']," T.I. said. "I sent word to Jay-Z, I asked him to get on it. I know he had a lot of sh*t going on, so he never got around to it. I finally ran into Meek in the club—we was at, when Kanye did that thing at the post office about five, six weeks ago. We was there together and I was like, Hey, man, I got something I want you to do. We left there, got something to eat, then we went to Just Blaze's studio in Harlem and laid the sh*t down right there."
