Pacquiao fans have been searching for reasons as to why the famed boxer was knocked out cold for the first time in his career, but his mother seems to have the explanation. Dionisia Pacquiao, Manny's mother, believes that her son lost the match on Saturday because he switched religions.
She told Inquirer Global Nation, "That's what he gets for changing his religion. Since the 'Protestant' pastors came into his life, he has not focused on his boxing."
The publication also added that Manny's mother "does not approve of Pacquiao leaving the Catholic Church. She wants him to quit and become a Catholic again."
