Whether it was a product of the Christmas spirit or just a kind heart, Andre Johnson's recent charity was pure in every sense. The Houston wide out gave 12 victims of abuse 80 seconds to frantically grab as many toys as they could. The kids wound up grabbing almost $20,000 worth of toys, which was paid for by the Andre Johnson Charitable Foundation.

"You hear a minute and twenty seconds and you don't think that's a long time, but you'd be surprised by what these kids can put into their buckets," Johnson told HoustonTexans.com.

Each of the children who participated has gone through rough family situations, and none of them currently live with their biological parents. Johnson pointed to his own upbringing for inspiring him to help out.

"A lot of these kids get discouraged because of where they grew up and things like that," said Johnson. "I grew up in a single-parent home and I was fortunate to achieve my goals. So, whatever goals you have, just keep them out in front of you, don't let anybody distract you away from them, because there will be distractions that try to detour you away from your goals. That's the biggest thing."
