Late last month, rapper Lil B let it be known that he would be taking his talents to the NBA hardwood to participate in a tryout with the Golden State Warriors. He kept his word in a way, as he didn't exactly try out for the Warriors team but instead for their Development League Team affiliate known as the Santa Cruz Warriors.

The open court tryout was held on Sunday and reports say dozens of aspiring D-League athletes attended the open run to showcase their skills for the coaches. Lil B even tweeted about his NBA D-League experience. The rapper seemed surprised that he was placed at the shooting guard position instead of the point guard slot.

"ITS CRAZY CUZ I THOUGHT COACH WUD BE PLAYING ME AS THE 1 AT NBA TRY OUTS TODAY BUT HE WANTED ME AT THE 2, TODAY WAS #BASED HISTORY - Lil B."

What do you think of Lil B's newest venture? Let us know if you think he has a chance at making the squad.
