The "Purple Rain" singer Prince, is currently under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to determine if he owes any taxes to France for various performances he conducted in that country back in '09 and '10. Prince was summoned to court by the IRS on behalf of France in order to settle the matter and find out if he owes them any back taxes, however Prince neglected to show up. He's also suffered tax woes for 2009 and 2010 in his home state of Minnesota for owing $1.3 million in property taxes. Apparently the IRS is now enforcing the investigation against Prince since he decided not to show up in court accordingly.
