Jay-Z gave his "Made in America" Music Festival speech on Monday morning and already everyone is talking about it, especially since the Roc Nation general plans to headline the two-day event in Philadelphia come September.
Even though he's coming off the Watch the Throne tour and will be making an on-stage appearance at the festival, Jay says not to expect any new material from him in the near future as he's looking to spend some quality time with his daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
"I thought I would be more inspired to have all these new feelings to talk about, but I really just want to hang out with my daughter. I want to enjoy this time for what it is. I'm sure that bug to get back in the studio will come back at some point."
As far as the Made in America festival is concerned, Jay says he already knows who will be performing, but will keep that info to himself for a while before he lets it out.
"You know me — I love the show of it. I will reveal them in time and we'll do some silly things that no one understands and they'll figure it out."
