A sick Kobe Bryant tried his best to keep his team close in game 6 against the Denver Nuggets, who ran the Lakers out of the building from the tip.

Kobe had a stomach virus but still managed to be the best player for his team. After the game, the Black Mamba scolded his teammates, saying they didn't play up to his or the Nuggets' level in Thursday night's loss.

He also mentioned that he was eager to get Metta World Peace back in the lineup for Saturday night's game 7, stating that he could count on World Peace on a more consistent basis.

"I expect him to come out and play with the tenacity that he's known for. He's the one guy that I can rely on night in and night out to compete and play hard and play with a sense of urgency and play with no fear. So, I'm looking forward to having him by my side again."

The 5-time NBA champion also had something to say about Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

"We didn't step up and meet [the Nuggets'] energy. They know that. I expect them to come out Game 7, and play with a sense of urgency and a sense of desperation that wasn't there the last two games."

He continued to say "I talked with Pau a little bit after the game; I'll speak with Andrew, too."

Game 7 takes place Saturday night in Los Angeles.
