Since the unfortunate passing of Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch, the group's album sales have risen considerably as they now have seven albums on the Billboard Top 200.

Their 1986 License to Ill is just one that's back on the charts and even took a top 20 spot, currently sitting at number 18 with 19,000 units sold. Other albums that made the list of 200 are Solid Gold HitsPaul's Boutique, Hot Sauce Committee Part TwoIll Communication, Check Your Head, and Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science.

In total, there was 55,000 albums sold by the group, which stamps an increase of 1,235% according to Billboard.

A similar thing happened when Tupac Shakur's album sales increased after the introduction of his hologram at Coachella.
