Maybe Larry Merchant doesn't really know who Justin Bieber is, and in fact he admitted that he doesn't know too much about him. Nevertheless, the comments he made about Bieber when TMZ caught up with him at the airport were pretty funny. When asked what he thought of Justin Bieber's appearance when Floyd Mayweather entered the ring, Larry gave a pretty funny explanation for Bieber rolling with the Money Team.

"I think he was trying to get some face time on television.  I think he needs it badly," Merchant said.

Even though Bieber definitely doesn't need any face time on TV, his appearance next to 50 Cent and Triple H was pretty surprising.  Justin's appearance will probably benefit both Floyd and himself in terms of increasing their fan base.

Aside from that, Floyd Mayweather and Larry Merchant burying the hatchet has been big news. Everyone who is a boxing fan, and even those who aren't, have probably seen what can only be described as one of the best post-fight interviews in the history of boxing, which occurred between Floyd and Larry last year.  After Floyd's controversial (but legal) KO of an unprepared Victor Ortiz, he got into a heated exchange with Merchant, where he screamed at him, "HBO should fire you! You don't know sh*t about boxing! You ain't sh*t!"

Merchant responded by matching fire with fire.  He screamed back at Floyd, "I wish I was 50 years younger so I could kick your as*!"

Floyd and Merchant acted responsibly as men and both apologized to one another at the weigh-in the day before the fight, and now Larry says he and Floyd are "the best friends ever."
