The length of celebrity marriages seems to have become a trend of extremely short periods, as another famed entertainer and his partner go their separate ways after only months of tying the knot.
Actor and comedian Eddie Griffin married a woman by the name of Nia Rivers in September of 2011 in Las Vegas. After only a mere six months, the couple filed for a joint divorce with "irreconcilable differences" as the documented reason.
Not too long after that, the couple tried to reconcile, but to no avail, and a Las Vegas judge finalized the divorce shortly after.
The couple did, however, agree to terms of joint custody of their two-year-old son King Edward Griffin, and the comic will pay child support in $2,500 monthly increments.
Finally, the two also agreed that no form of entertainment (book, movie, etc.) will be created to disclose any info in regards as to why they two split up.
