Azalea Banks has been a very opinionated individual since her arrival in the music industry. She was not shy about expressing her disdain for Iggy Azalea making the 2012 Freshman Class cover, nor was the young Harlem femcee shy about expressing her respectful words of praise for Nicki Minaj.
Azealia recently discussed her appreciation for Nicki's music to VIBE.com:
"Sonically, I think Pink Friday is great. The vocals are clean. The beats are mixed well and the hooks are catchy. Nicki Minaj has really mastered the art of popular songwriting. I do like her mixtapes a lot, though. I think she's a brilliant lyricist, but I think a lot of the things she started doing with her look were distracting. I think she's talented enough to sustain a very fruitful career without the ugly wigs and ugly costumes."
Azealia was then asked if she would like to do some collaboration work with Nicki Minaj at some point, and her answer was short, and straight to the point:
"Hell yeah. Nicki Minaj is mad sexy."
Well, there's definitely no argument about that.
