According to TMZ, the Houston family is outraged and disturbed over the photo of Whitney's remains in her casket that made it to the front page of the National Enquirer a couple of days ago.
TMZ says the family is disgusted the photo was printed and they're clueless as to how security surrounding the casket was breached. Apparently, the family could tell from the photo that it was taken inside the funeral home, but they have no idea who could have snapped the pic. Their sources say Whitney's mother, Cissy, is taking the publication of the photo the hardest.
The sources also say the family will not investigate the situation further and just want to put the disturbing incident behind them.
Publishing that photo really does seem to go beyond bad taste into the realm of heartlessness.
