Jerry Sandusky, infamous for the child sex abuse case at Penn. State, has received his trial date.
The watershed case will be heard on May 14th. Judge John M. Cleland struck the date during a hearing on Friday morning, responding to the already heated courtroom hearings. Defense Attorney Joe Amendola requested that Sandusky be allowed to see his grandchildren under the supervision of other adults
The prosecution argued that being out on bail "is a privilege", commenting that his house has not been a safe place for kids over the last 15 years.
Sandusky remains stern, denying charges of sexually assaulting 10 boys over a 15-year period.
