VH1's "Love and Hip Hop" is getting a revamp, as it was annouced that singer/model Somaya Reece would be replaced by Erica Mena. This means that the only original cast members will be Chrissy, Emily B. and Olivia.

New Cast Members Erica Mena and Teairra Mari are based in Miami, so the show will get a new spin down South. An insider revealed that Erica's role on the show is to introduce a possiblity of a Miami spin-off, and they are putting out feelers to see if anyone would be a good fit in the area.

Although Somaya won't be appearing throughout the whole season, look for her to make a guest appearance in a couple of episodes.

"Somaya did tape some episodes. I'm not sure at which point she was phased out and how much of her footage will be included, but she left the production team in a lurch. She told them she had a few new ventures in the works, which would have given her a storyline on this new season. But as taping went on, it became obvious that she really didn't bring anything new to the table other than what she had going on last year, which we all know wasn't much."
