I'm sure all the heads out there still remember the Jay-Z/Nas beef that erupted in 2001 when Hov accused Nas of being a has-been on the track "Takeover" from The Blueprint. He also questions Nas' street cred and says Nasty lied and exaggerated in his rhymes.

"Ni**a, you ain't live it you witnessed from your folks' pad/Scribbled in your notepad and created your life/I showed you your first tec, on tour with Large Professor (Me! That's who!)/Then I heard your album 'bout your tec on your dresser."

"Ni**a switch up your flow, your s*it is garbage/But you try and kick knowledge? (Get the f**k outta here)" and "Fell from top ten to not mentioned at all/To your bodyguard's Oochie Wally verse better than yours/Matter fact you had the worst flow in the whole fu**in' song..."

Nas fired back on his song "Ether" from the Stillmatic LP. Nasty claims he got it locked down and throws several gay slurs at Jay:

"I got this, locked since Nine-One (1991), I am the truest/ Name a rapper that I ain't influenced."

"When these streets keep calling, heard it when I was sleep/ That this Gay-Z and C**k-A-Fella Records wanted beef/ Then you got the nerve to say that you're better than Big/ D**k-suckin' lips, why don't you let the late great veteran live", "You a d**k-ridin' fag*ot, you love the attention/ Queens ni**as run you ni**as, ask Russell Simmons."

"In '88, you was gettin' chased to your buildin'/ Callin' my crib, and I ain't even give you my numbers/ All I did was give you a style for you to run with." He also accuses Jay of selling out, "Y'all ni**as deal with emotions like bitches/ What's sad is I love you cause you're my brother, you traded your soul for riches."

He had lines regarding Jay's unattractive appearance and accuses him of misogyny, rapping, "You seem to be only concerned with dissin' women/ Were you abused as a child, scared to smile, they called you ugly?" and "Foxy kept you hot, kept your face in her pu*s/ What you think you gettin' girls now because of your looks?"

Nasty also accuses Hov of brown-nosing and stealing Biggie's rhymes:

"Your ass went from Jaz to hangin' with Kane, to Irv to Big/ And, Eminem murdered you on your own sh*t." "How much of Biggie's rhymes gonna come out your fat lips?"

Jadakiss and Kendrick Lamar recently discussed who won the battle, with each rapper taking a different side.

"I didn't really like the 'Takeover' beat," admitted Jadakiss. "But the words—you know what the words are! It's like the Declaration of Independence on the battle tip. What he's saying is crazy. I like the laaaaayyyyymmmmme part. It was heavy, but Nas' 'Ether' sits on the mantle when it comes to battle songs."

Kiss added that "Ether" gets an "A-Plus grade."

Kendrick Lamar, however, says Jay-Z came out on top. "Truthfully, I felt like everybody wanted to go against Jay-Z because Nas was the underdog. But I was riding with Jay because he was saying more facts. 'Ether' was powerful, but I always thought Jay had the upper hand."

Who do you think had the better diss track?
