Sources say that Lindsay Lohan will not accept the offer.
But other say that she has no choice because she is going to jail no matter what! Her preliminary hearing and probation violation case will be heard at the same time, therefore if the judge thinks she did steal the necklace, she's going to jail. Or if the judge finds her not guilty at trial, she violated her probation which means jail time too. Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers made the offer but it is said that Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, would pass on that deal.
His strategy is to plead guilty or no contest and 'hope' that the judge gives her less time. Six months sounds like a lot less time for grand theft and probation violation - hope her lawyer knows what he is doing!
