It was reported earlier that ticket sales to JAY-Z's "4:44" tour we're struggling. Just days later, it was listed as one of the veteran rapper's highest grossing shows. Despite the mixed reports on his success, Jay seems to be performing at his best each night, going through his litany of hits and still taking his time to address social injustices and to joke around with the audience.

During a few of his tour stops, he has paused his show to address Meek Mill's harsh jail sentencing and even had time to pen an op-ed for the New York Times that was published last weel. He also hailed Kaepernick for being honored as GQ's "Citizen of the Year." Just last night, he took some friendly shots at LeBron James for proclaiming himself the King of New York. Hov invited fans on stage during his Cleveland show to say he's the new king of Bron's city as the NBA baller sat in VIP.

At that same show, Jay took a moment to speak to a 9-year-old fan in the crowd with her father. In between songs, he called the girl closer to the stage and gave her a short but inspiring speech. "You can be anything that you want to be in the world,” Jay told her.

He continued, “At this very moment, America is way more sexist than they are racist. But you, young lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States, you believe that.”
