Jay-Z had a bit of fun with LeBron James’ recent visit to his hometown where the NBA Champion declared himself the "King of New York" after beating the Knicks.

Jigga was performing in Cleveland when he hit back at LeBron for his comments. “LeBron was in Detroit last night. I told him. Hey man. You my guy and all that, but you can’t be taking pictures in the Garden and talk about you’re the king of New York. So I told him I’m coming to Cleveland. I’m the king of Cleveland now,” said Jay at a concert earlier this week. He went on to take pictures with some of his fans and celebrated the fact that they would have a flick with the new “king of Cleveland.”

LeBron angered a lot of fans when he responded to comments made by New York Knicks player Enes Kanter who said that he wouldn’t let anyone “punk” their team. He ended up scuffling with LeBron during the Cavs and Knicks game last week and questioned James afterward.

“I don’t care…what you call yourself. King, Queen, Princess whatever you are. You know what, we’re going to fight and nobody out there [is] going to punk us,” said Kanter. LeBron responded with a king emoji next to NY and called Madison Square Garden his “favorite playground.” He also spoke to reporters about Kanter stating that “I’m the King, my wife is the Queen and my daughter is the Princess. So we got all three covered.”
