Missy Elliot: I Had No Idea About Aaliyah Posthumous Album

Since Timbaland commented on Drake's posthumous Aaliyah album saying he and Missy Elliot should be included in the project, whether or not they'll get on board has been up in the air. It was recently reported by the late singer's cousin, Jomo Hankerson, that "Timbaland will definitely be involved, Missy will definitely be involved."
But according to a tweet posted to Missy's Twitter, the rap veteran says she had no idea an album of the sort was even in the works. After a fan expressed his joy that she would be part of the project, Missy responded by saying "@bengray_ I had no clue there was one no 1 told me..."
Only time will tell if she and Timbaland will actually work with Drake on the album.

Artists record more songs that actually make the album so of course there's tracks out there that were never album worthy period! U obviously never witnessed recording sessions for an album @ kopper field otherwise you would not talk out your ass - now STFU

Why should they?! The family doesn't want to be involved and it's all material that was never album worthy so they kept their mouths shut ou of respect for her legacy. I rather listen to an album that has the help of Timbaland & Missy (who actually knew Aaliyah) than of a fan that never knew her and can only do damage......

See, that's how Drake & his machine works - they received more than negative feedback from fans all over because Timbaland, Missy or her family ain't involved in this project. Next thing they did, spread rumors that they are involved to silence the negative feedback but that shit is exposed now - no wonder I can't stand this fuck called Drake!!! If he was sincere about Aaliyah, why is he spreading lies about Missy, Timbaland or her family being involved when that is obviously not true?! Not a real fan after all cuz if U respect Aaliyah's legacy U don't move they way Drake does and I hope this project will never see the light of day cuz 40 or whatever his name is & Drake can only damage her legacy - leave it alone Drake U fuck!!!
