Azealia Banks appears to be one the few who feel bad for Omarosa Manigault Newman after her recent departure from the White House. The “212” rapper went to social media to give support to Newman and call out individuals who are delighted at her impromptu job loss.

“I don’t care what anyone says I highkey want Omarosa to win for some reason. I hope DT hires her back and she gets to stay until the end of the tenure." wrote Banks. “I don’t know why all the fake woke sistas think it’s funny that the only black woman in the bizarro real time political drama were all witnessing essentially got cut out of the movie early in the beginning.”

On Wednesday, Omarosa Manigault Newman reportedly resigned as director of communications for the Public Liaison office. However, according to a report from White House press correspondent, April Ryan, Newman was terminated by Chief of Staff John Kelly. Speaking with Good Morning America, Newman told host Michael Strahan that the reports of her firing were “one-hundred percent false.”

While the former "Apprentice" contestant has since denied those accusations in multiple interviews, Banks continued her post by reminding social media that no story is complete without the “villain.” “Remember that every story needs a good villain.” wrote Banks “I’m rooting for rude a** Omarosa. LOL."
