TMZ is reporting that Netflix will be hosting its own Golden Globes after-party due to their severed relationship with The Weinstein Company. Netflix has taken TWC off of the billing for their upcoming after-party in January due to the numerous allegations against the company's namesake - Harvey Weinstein.
The Netflix-Weinstein function has been one of the hottest after-parties for the last three years with the collaborators hosting a party at the Beverly Hills Hilton in January of this year. Netflix and TWC have a long relationship with TWC producing films/shows such as "Marco Polo" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend" for the streaming platform.
It's no telling what this means for the relationship between the two companies moving forward but the allegations are now seemingly affecting the business Harvey Weinstein left behind in addition to his personal fall from grace.
