Shannon Sharpe had reason to celebrate on Monday (November 20), and when Shannon Sharpe celebrates, he brings the cigars out. For one of the few times in his adult life, this past Sunday's gameday lineup wasn't the highlight of the 49-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer's weekend. That distinction belonged to his attendance at a spin class, where he happened to get up with his long-time crush, Nicole Murphy, 49. Sharpe was so stoked about the encounter that he opened up Monday's episode of FS1's Undisputed with a Backwoods nestled between his lips.
"Joy, I wasn't even gonna get on these Woods this early, because it's real early in the morning," Sharpe told Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor. "Ya boy had to get with these woods, now. I'm on these woods." The moment was reminiscent of his viral Black and Mild moment, following a Denver Broncos win back in October.
Several celebrities came forward with support for Sharpe's conquest after he posted a photo of the moment they met on social media. "Those that know won’t tell. Those that tell won’t know," Sharpe wrote in the caption of the image. Waka Flocka, Nelly, and LeBron James were among the figures who tweeted acknowledgment for Sharpe's accomplishment. “I see you working boyyyyyyy!!!!” LeBron wrote, and "Go head big brah!" Nelly would add.
Despite the fact that Sharpe has reportedly been dating Flywheel instructor Katy Kellner, Sharpe has been open about his crush on Nicole.
