Lonzo Ball continued to make history despite his rocky season, on Sunday (November 19), when he joined Magic Johnson as one of only two Lakers players to score a second triple-double during their rookie season.

Ball contributed 11 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists to L.A.'s 127-109 win over the Denver Nuggets. Ball wasn't the only one in gold and purple to ball out. The team accumilated a season-high 36 assists and saw seven of its players score in the double digits. But Ball's effort was particularly notable, as his rebound total for the game topped any put up by a rookie this season, and was the highest by a rookie since Steve Francis put up 17 in 2000. Lonzo also managed to put up a fairly decent shooting percentage, knocking down an efficient 5 of 13 shots from the field.

Eight days ago, Ball took the record for the youngest rookie to ever register a triple-double, when he achieved the mark five days ahead of the age that LeBron did it at (Lonzo was 20 years and 15 days old). Coincidentally, the Big Baller Brand representer's second triple-double happened at the exact age that LeBron scored his second triple-double. Only Oscar Robertson, Hambone Williams, Connie Hawkins, Magic Johnson, Ben Simmons, and now Ball have ever put up a pair of triple-doubles through their first 20 games.
