LeBron James gave Lonzo Ball his just due during a sitdown with reporters after a Cavaliers shootaround on Monday morning, November 13. The 4-time MVP responded to the topic of Ball eclipsing his record as the youngest player to ever score a triple-double over the weekend by saluting the accomplishment and making a pretty lofty prediction about the future of Lakers rookie.

"I think back to when I was that young and, um, there's not many games that I could remember when I was 20-years-old, or 19, or even 18. So, first off, you know, congratulations to him," James told reporters. "I think, I mean he's gonna be a really, really good point guard in our league, probably a great point guard if he continues to work on his craft, which it seems like he does. So, um, you know, they've got a good one."

Ball's seizing of the distinction was really the only high point for L.A. as they went on to drop their third straight game with a 98-90 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks that dropped their record to 5-8. After weeks comprised of several games in which he came close to pulling off the feat, Ball's moment came with a rebound in the 4th quarter. At 20 years and 15 days old, Ball set the new mark five days faster than LeBron had when he did it at 20 years and 20 days old.
