It seems that the tables have turned on Judge Genece Brinkley. After sentencing Meek Mill to two to four years in prison for a probation violation, many have been questioning her motives, especially since the district attorney asked for no jail time. Now, the FBI might be investigating Judge Brinkley.

According to Page Six, a source revealed the FBI's interest in the case, “The feds have an interest in the judge and [her] potential relationships. This is an investigation looking into a possible extortionate demand. Undercover agents have been in the courtroom monitoring the Meek proceedings since April 2016.”

Page Six reached out to a rep for the FBI Philly field office and they couldn't give too many details, “Per [Justice Department] policy, we neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations.”

Joe Tacopina, Meek's attorney, also couldn't give much information, “That is something that I absolutely do not have the ability to comment on.”

The source also told Page Six, “[Charlie] Mack had previously told Meek how he ‘knows the judge and he could help him with his case.’ ”

As most know, Charlie Mack is a music figure from Philly and the same person that Judge Brinkley told Meek to sign with. However, Mack said that he doesn’t know Brinkley, “I’ve spent more time talking to you than I ever talked to the judge. There is no conspiracy, Meek is an old friend of 30-plus years.”

We'll keep you all posted as this story develops.
