Tyrese Gibson has been all over the news lately, though unfortunately, it hasn't been for his acting chops.
The 38-year-old actor is currently embroiled in a savage custody battle with his ex-wife Norma. Fighting for his right to see his daughter on a regular basis, Tyrese has gone through some tough times.
He spoke with a reporter late last month after attending a court hearing regarding the custody of his daughter Shayla.
"I just feel a little compromised today...you know, hospitals are supposed to keep everything confidential, and I normally stay under an alias," Tyrese told the reporter.
"I've never been through a trial in my life, even though I'm from Watts--South Central. Never been through a trial, so I was up since four a.m. I didn't know that I would be in there for [12 hours]."
It was recently reported that Will Smith lent Tyrese a whopping $5 million for help during his difficult time. Gibson, who also gave big thanks to the Coca-Cola company, commented on it in a recent Instagram video, which you can check out up top.
"Thank you for the Coca-Cola placement," says Gibson. "They know I'm going broke, I'm waiting on that Will Smith money..."
